Studio Thirty Three Seeks Votes of Support for Pepsi Grant

Studio Thirty Three in Waynesville, NC has been nominated to receive a Pepsi Refresh Grant, worth $50,000.00. The grant will support the vision of Studio Earth, a creative initiative that gives funding to many non-profit organizations in the community. The money, if awarded, will provide the tools and help needed to do production work for the Studio Earth Signature Series line of jewelry that sources 15% to 30 % of profits directly to the charities that the pieces have been paired with. It will also build a website for Studio Earth.

Voting for this project began at 6:00 AM on May 1st, and will end at midnight on May 31st. Among 1348 great ideas on the voting platform, Studio Thirty Three hopes to achieve a position in the top ten to receive the grant. The campaign to encourage voting has begun. Voting is simple and is done online at PepsiRefreshEverything.com. The success of this community minded endeavor is in the very hands of the community it supports.

Diannah Beauregard, founder and jeweler of Studio Thirty Three has chosen some of the organizations that are currently paired with pieces in the series – and they include Haywood Community College Foundation, Haywood Animal Welfare Association, Habitat for Humanity, REACH, Haywood County Arts Council, Friends of the Smokies, NAMI of Western NC and more as the Studio Earth project continues to develop. Organizations that are on board for upcoming designs are MANNA Food Bank, NCCALL, local Veterans organizations, Adoption and Foster Care, At risk Prenatal and Neonatal care and others as the goal is reached;  33 signature pieces over the next 2 years.

Pepsi is giving away more than 20 million dollars this year to refresh communities all across America. Casting your vote for your favorite projects will support many vital community enriching endeavors.
